Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay Roster, Plot, and Images Revealed

TheHollywood Reporter released some huge news about the upcoming Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay animated movie. Amanda Waller’s (Vanessa Williams) Task Force X consists of Deadshot (Christian Slater), Harley Quinn (Tara Strong), Bronze Tiger (Billy Brown), Captain Boomerang (Liam McIntyre), Killer Frost (Kristin Bauer van Straten), and Copperhead (Gideon Emery). It’s nice to see Bronze Tiger is on the team (he didn't make the cut in the live-action film or other animated movie) since he was a member of the original roster. Hopefully the guy gets a great melee fight!

Since the other Task Force X animated movie, Batman: Assault on Arkham (which is a total blast), took place in the Arkham video game universe, I’m assuming this will be the Suicide Squad’s first appearance in the animated universe that was established back in Justice League: War.

According to THR, Waller’s dangerous and top secret team needs to obtain a “powerful mystical object” but there’s another group of villains who are also going after this item. As you can see below, there are a lot of other villains in the story.

·         Zoom (C. Thomas Howell)

·         Scandal Savage (Dania Ramirez)

·         Professor Pyg (James Urbaniak)

·         Silver Banshee (Julie Nathanson)

·         Vandal Savage (Jim Pirri)

·         Vertigo (Jim Pirri)

·         Maxum Steel (Greg Grunberg)

·         Blockbuster (Dave Fennoy)

·         Tobias Whale (Dave Fennoy)

·         Knockout (Cissy Jones)

·         Darma (Natalie Lander)

·         Punch (Trevor Devall)

·         Two-Face (Dave Boat)

·         Savage Gunman (Matthew Mercer)

Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay will release this spring on digital, DVD, and Blu-ray. If it’s anything like Batman: Assault on Arkham, this one should be an obvious purchase.

  2. I don't get why we're getting an other Suicide Squad movie so soon. Not that I'm against the idea, it just seems odd to me. They've been gaining popularity ever since they appeared on Arrow. With the animated movie, live action movie, the JLvSS event and their inclusion into the Lego Games.
